The unexpected glorious weather of the past few days has raised my spirits. Then I got an email! To open it to read that my Novella in Flash (NiF) 'My Mother Didn't Want Me to Get a Tattoo' is longlisted in the Page Turner Awards 2024 is a tremendous boost to my writing endeavours. In my experience, it is difficult to find a (publishing) home for shorter works of fiction, so I look forward with anticipation to the announcements of the awards in the coming weeks.
