Jonathan Swift Creative Writing Awards

Earlier on this evening I opened post that had arrived (yes, snail mail!). I was delighted to read that my story "And Then Came the War" has been shortlisted in the Jonathan Swift Creative Writing Awards 2015.

The winners will be announced on Saturday 5th December in Tallaght Library at 2pm. I am scheduled to be at the INTO/St Patrick's College Conference on Educational Disadvantage on that day, but I may just have to leave early...
