The Liar

Since Sweaters and Small Stuff was published, a few people have asked me how they can get a hold of the first story I had published, titled The Liar.

It was included in an anthology called A Pint and a Haircut, True Irish Stories edited by Garret Pearse and published by Londubh Books in September 2010. All the royalties from the sale of the book go to Concern's Haiti Fund.

The printed copy retails at €12.99 and it is also available as an eBook for €7.99 from Londubh Books. However, as it happens, when you go to the Londubh website and scroll down for the publication, it gives you the option to have a "look inside" and , hey presto, what story pops up only The Liar. You can have a free read at http://www.londubh.ie/?p=756

It is a different genre to the fiction stories in Sweaters and Small Stuff as it is a memoir piece about my brother Kieran. I didn't get the solicitor's letter yet, so it must be true!
